What data we collect and why

Website analytics

This site uses Ghost's built-in web analytics, powered by Tinybird. This is cookie-free, first-party analytics — no tracking cookies are placed on your device.

The analytics system collects:

  • Pages visited and referral source
  • Approximate location (country/city level, derived from IP address)
  • Browser type and device type

IP addresses are not stored in identifiable form. The purpose is to understand which content is useful to readers. The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

When you click a link that leads to another website, a UTM tag may be appended to the URL. This helps the destination site understand where its traffic comes from. No personal data about you is sent — the tag identifies this site as the source.

What we do not collect

  • No account registration or login
  • No contact forms
  • No newsletter signup on this site
  • No third-party advertising or marketing trackers
  • No Google Analytics (at time of writing)

How long data is retained

Aggregated analytics data is retained as long as the site is active. Because no personal identifiers are stored, individual deletion requests cannot be fulfilled for analytics data — there is nothing to identify or delete.
